Ravinder’s delicious menus have drawn many high profile names, and Jikoni’s in London has become a restaurant loved by chefs. Both Nigella Lawson and Yotam Ottolenghi have named it one of their favourite places to eat. Ravinder’s cooking is a joyful and ‘inauthentic’ cross pollination of continents and immigrant cuisine, recipes she shares in her three best-selling cookbooks and columns for the Guardian, FT Weekend and Harper’s Bazaar.
Her menu for Yurtel brings together all these beautiful flavours from grilled peaches, barbecued sardines, lamb and aubergine fatteh and a strawberry faloodda cake that Jessie Ware swooned over. We’ve added in some specially designed cocktails to start and finish the feast in the sun and by the fireside.
